Women of color are making their mark as entrepreneurs. The firms women of color own are growing at six times the rate of all companies in the U.S. Between 1997 and 2004, the data from all privately-held firms in the U.S. shows they grew by nine percent. Those owned by women of color grew by 54.6%.
People who are different from you are different in ways that are not normal. You believe they do not belong in your workplace, and you do not want them as clients. Working or coming in contact with them causes you a lot of discomfort.
